jerry the supper slow person is talking about me not you . with that said if the other person reads most of the posts you would know that i build about 4 spec 944's a year and work on more than i could count in a year . unlike you i know the 944 like the back of my hand so if i give a time. its me doing the job not you or any one else .how in gods name can any one give a time for an other person doing a job especially when you don't do it for a living like i do . thats not with refinishing times if you want to paint it and make it look nice . the book time for doing the rear axle is 6.2 hours thats for R&I . to R&R the t-bar is 1.3 hours more that puts you at 7.5 hours to do the rear end of a 944 by the book . i can do the rear of a 944 in about 5.5 hours . if it takes you longer than that you would not work in my shop i couldn't make any money!and if you realy know what your doing you don't even have to remove the rear all the way out of the car to change out the t-bar if you just want to reindex it . when it comes to the rear end of the 944 there an ez job so if it takes you longer than that you have no idea of what your doing and should not even work on cars . some one would realy have to screw up if you got the wrong parts or ext ext .
