I concur, but you're playing with fire in some areas by suggesting the cops are lying. I got nailed once for going straight in a left-turn-only lane, which I not only didn't do, but the cop (who pulled me over on foot up the road) would never have been able to see me do it, had I done it. He had to be looking right into the sun and I would have been over 1000' away, when a lady let me get into the right lane after I signaled, from which I continued straight. It was a tiny hicktown in PA and I think the judge lived in the back room of the magistrate bldg. He was putting on his robe and mixing his coffee when I walked into "court." Total hwy. robbery racket with the power of the state behind it.
