They could see a lone car driving along on a long straight highway. They would go right down on the deck and fly right over someone. Imaging a B-52 roaring right overhead out of nowhere in the middle of the night when you had not seen another car in 30 minutes. He said several drivers almost drove off the road.

i can remember as a kid SAC bombers(B-52) and then later on in life F-111's screaming azz across monument valley,az.(nava-joe rez) day and night right on the deck in the middle of BFE. now that was some cool stuff.
