I call deliberate action - someone was put up to this.

Who stands to benefit from this happening?

1) Obama - makes his moratorium look like a good idea and he milks it for political gain
2) Middle Eastern oil interests - keeps the USA sucking at their teat for years to come by helping to crush any hope for domestic production enhancement.
3) BP - gets the spotlight off of them and allows them to say, "see it could happen to anyone" potentially saving them bajillions in lawsuits and pending litigation.

I'm calling it - more will come out about the truth behind this story in coming weeks. I can smell it a mile away.
