I purchased Russell Berry Chip last fall for a 1984 3.2. I got the Multiboard with stock map, 91 Octane, 93 Octane, valet mode, and no start. Russell send the first chip in a 24 pin config for the 84 DME.....I had a no start condition on all maps. I then sent the DME to him for eprom upgrade to 28 pin and install new chip. I rec'd the DME, it would then start on several of the maps but could not pull the car through 3000 RPM. Notified Russell and he sent new chip. Same problem, even in stock mode. It was like all maps on both chips were in valet mode. This process took about 8 months, so by this time i was totally frustrated and just put the stock chip back in. Car runs great. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem that maybe has an easy fix, that I am missing?
