That could easily be a $20K 911 that will be worth $8k.
If you're going into a project that deep start with something collectible like a '73 or earlier.
I have a middie that I've spent more than it's worth on so not being predjudiced here, just trying to save you the heartache and $$$ of starting with the wrong car.
There are complete, running, nice middies for under $10k out there. Unless you specifically want a '74 I would try to find a decent SC or Carrera for a driver or a longhood for a resto project if that's what you want to do.
