yep dove season is here. and its 95degrees w/about 48% humidity. and its a sweat-fest.
but what the hell................grab the old tube limiter(2 in mag tube-1 in pipe = 3 total) got my obligatory migratory fed/state stamp and we iz off to the races.
most dove on the ground which means bust 'em up or a few flyers here and there.
i got (1) on the wing,so it was fun despite expending a box of shells.
its a 21" barrel so im limited on the "reach out and touch" them gig.
the other day found a 28" barrel VR for HK/BENELLI M-1 and about had heart failure-$475 bucks used.
the best part of the morning..............NO RATTLESNAKES!
season is all day this year til 9/15/10. so maybe this evening we will try again.
