adjust valves and now not running well
I adjusted the valves on my 93, removed the plug wires and some of the distributor wires and now the car seems to be missing half a cylinder or so. Can't really tell until I get into third gear, or very low second. Checked all of the distributor connections and made sure the wiring order was correct. Loosened the plug wires and re-seated (is it even possible to get one of the plug extensions in incorrectly?) on all but the left rear, which isn't possible to get at w the heat shield in the way. Does it matter that some of the plug wires seem to run over each other leaving the distributor? Anyway, I am at my wits end cause none of this helped. I'm assuming that the problem is somewhere in the plug wires, since I have heard that the 964's are very sensitive to electrical. Does anyone know of a procedure to find out which plug is offending the system?
