Ebay's really irritating to me over the last few years. They force you to accept paypal.

I've got a few hundred sales over the last 10 years - I mostly buy but not that often.

Accepting Paypal is a huge pain in my butt - I don't trust them and I don't want to accept it. I rarely have anything high dollar and the one time I did I had to wait something like 30 days to get my money all the while fully expecting the guy on the other end to file a claim and clean me out.

Never again.

In the past I had always said, money order, cash or personal check only. If it was a money order or check I would either cash it at the bank it was drawn or wait 10 days for it to clear. Nobody ever gave me a bad check or MO, nobody ever complained about it and I was always up front in my auctions about my 'policy'.

Most of my sales were hobby related so now I take that business to the hobby related forums I subscribe to. They are FREE and I can usually arrange a local pickup and make a new flying buddy.
