Dan, that is a nice looking T! Don't despair, you'll get it back on the road one way or another.
I have a '72 longblock, the last of the carbureted cars, sitting on a dolly on my shop floor. I haven't done a thing with it and likely won't (I'm rebuilding a different motor for my '66). It would need a heck of a lot of work to get it running again, but maybe using the bottom end of mine and the remainder of yours you would end up with a good runner.
