I went to one a long time ago for a pain from a pinched nerve on the left side at the base of my neck. I was in hopes a chiropractor could help. He said he would absolutely eliminate the pain, but needed time, so I had to pay for 3 months of treatment up front - which I did. Went in twice a week & got "adjusted." On the last "adjustment" I told him it was still killing me. He didn't really respond. I was out the 3 months cost of "treatment" and was the same. Never do that again.
