The brightwork, IMO, is what makes these early cars unique. Adding back all chrome and trim pieces would be my gameplan for the greatest return. Clean up the old window frames to the best of your ability and re-install. The front and rear window frames are available from Porsche. Then I would get the deck lid letters, bumper and rocker trim, this will give a more unified look. Again swap out seats.
The 66 ST car is an interesting car. SWB wide body cars tend to have a unbalanced look and sit on the market for quite a while. There is a 68L widebody that has been on the market for a while now.
