I imagine a few of those will be at the DE this weekend. The good part is they make the average joe fast on the track - the bad part is that the average joe now thinks he speed racer and can overcome the laws of physics...
last DE I was at - I was instructing a guy in a newer 996
Me: Tell me what just happened (going around turn one at a good clip)
Student : The PSM clicked on controlled the rear of the car from stepping out because I let up on the gas at the wrong place
Me: Yep - keep you foot in it - OR gradually come off the gas at that point - but really better to go in a little slower and get on the gas earlier to have more momentum out of that corner.
Student: what would have happened if I hadn't have given you that answer?
Me: then you would have been unaware that the car saved your a$s and we would have slowed down.
