Alot of good points given, for sure see a good shoulder Doc.

You can live without a rotator cuff, aka supraspinatus muscle, most easily torn muscle in our body.

My right one has been totally torn off for the last 34 yrs, the insertion sits atrophied by the head. The deltoid muscles do alot more work on that side. In the last 5 yrs as I get older, I have a hard time now lifting my arm over my head.

My left one was partially torn 10 yrs ago and I had that one fixed during Christmas break. Two weeks later was in the office adjusting people, it was sore and had alot of crepitus but it went away. Unfortunately it is slightly torn again. Torn rotator cuffs are a hazard of the Chiropractic profession.
