That is the nature of a stat. They are a line source. That means a very narrow sweet spot with an overblown character to the voice - larger than life. Seductive, but not real. Quads were smaller & the corresponding image was more lifelike. All stats had bass issues since the panel couldn't move the requisite air for fast deep bass.
