Fuchs Fitment for RS clone
Hello All,
I am planning on building a 73 RS Clone. My question is for wheel fitments. I like the look of both 15x7&8's and 16x7&8's. To start I will be running S calipers, but may want to go to Turbo brakes. On a previous project I got 15 x 7&8's to fit over 928GT calipers AKA Black Big Reds, although I had to run only external wheel weights, thats how close it was. I belive that those wheels were 944 off set. Is there a brake fitments advantage to the 944 off set? If I do go to turbo brakes they will be 930 style and no bigger. What is the opinion of the group?? The rear is running real RS flares and not SC. Not opposed to 9's either, but there is a cost factor there....Thanks
