I had a single done years ago at the Shouldice Clinic. It was a hernia holiday.
Walked off the operating table and was practicing putting and playing pool (right at the clinic) by that evening. People come from all over the world to Shouldice. There was a guy from Australia (plus two Amish dudes) there when I had mine done. Back to work in one week.
