Beth made Pad Thai at home last night and it turned out great! Beth was trying to find the right sauce, but everything has HFCS (high fructose corn syrup) in it, and we're cutting that out of our diet, so she researched and found a recipe on the Internet. I don't know if it was the homemade sauce, fresh ingredients (bean sprouts, rice noodles, cilantro, lemon grass, peanuts, etc...), but it was fantastic! Simply the best Pad Thai we have ever had. Our son and daughter had friends over and we had 7 people eat dinner for $13. Everyone really enjoyed dinner and Dan, or son has a peanut allergy and was able to try the dish for the 1st time with no nuts in his portion. I get to have the leftovers today!!!
