I have looked into the renagade kit. It comes out about the same price as a 3.6 swap. I don't see how it is any cheaper. The engine may be a cheaper but by the time you buy everything else to do it right, it's a wash. The savings would come in HP upgrades, as the 911 3.6 costs far more to "hop up".
I don't condem the V8 swap. I am considering both(3.6 and V8). I just don't see the savings VS. all the extra work to do it right.
