"What keeps you snug for spirited driving and what's necessary for crash protection ( up to maybe 45 g's) ....is a completely different set of spec requirements."
Very true Will.
When I got in my car today I took close notice to how the belt fit "me" in the new seats. All I can say is that it's as good or better than it was in my stock seats. The lap belt fits snuggly over my belt line, but I guess thats not hard to do with a 3 point set up. If I ever do consider serious track days maybe a new seat/belt set up would be in order, but honestly the difference is night and day between those two scenarios. I think we'd all be better off on the road with racing seats (head side support included) and 5 point harnessess, but I guess its just not prctical enough for most., regardless of the safety advantages.
