Is there a Clubsport sticker on the fender? That would be a good place to start. How about rear seat backs...are there any? Glove box door? Passenger side sun visor?

Well from the info someone else gave me on yahoo answers
The only car that seems to match your specs for year and number sold in the U.S. is the 911 Carrera Club Sport with 21 delivered in the U.S. in 1988 and 7 delivered in 1989. This car was intended for Porsche Club racing and weighed 155 pounds less than the standard Carrera of the time. The Club Sport originally had a "CS" decal on the front side of the car, although some may have been delivered without the decal, and some may have had it removed since.
Now I could be totally wrong, and it could be just a normal 911 made in 1989 like some other guy said.
But when we received the vehicle, and throughought the years we've always been told it's a very rare vehicle, and there are around less than 10 of them in the US, but according to this there should be around 23 of the model, but only 2 with A/c according to wikipedia.
