Before I got on my Viking kick, I let a Sears saleman talk me out of a Bosch and into their top end unit. All stainless inside and out, buttons on top of door and not the front, just lights on door, and tons of insulation for sound. Based on owning this thing for about 8 years now, would not consider another brand if this is typical of Kenmore dishwashers. Think it was 700-900 if I remember, thought it was crazy at the time. We moved to FL for about 18 months and that was the one thing about our kitchen that my wife missed the most.
My brother built a house last year and had his builder replace his Bosch with something else after 3 months. He said it was great when it worked but it broke twice and lead time on parts were 2 weeks each time, second time he said take it out.
