Here's my '74 911 Targa...
I bought my car in 2002 for $6500 and have put over $8k into it over the years, trying to get it "right". The 3 best things i did after getting the car:
1. Hanging out on PelicanParts and learning from the great people here
2. Meeting a great Porsche mechanic in Findlay, OH (Tab Tanner) to help me when I'm in over my head...
3. Switching the CIS over to Webers
I think the '74 is a great car and I love the Targa. The '74 is a good "1st Porsche" since it's pretty easy to understand and work on. Nice, light, fun to drive!
