I am thinking about selling off my perfectly working CSI and installing a used set of 40 mm (?) webbers on my 78 SC motor.

Why? Just because it will clean up the engine compartment...

I was also thinking about selling off the ditributor and CDI box and going to an electromotive crankfired set up.

Why? just to clean up the engine compartment.

Also thought it would be easier to work on. etc.

I was also thinking of selling my SSIs and going to race headers with a muffler (custom) and junking the heater blower stuff. Then I would use one of those little heaters that you plug into the cig lighter hole.

why? just to clean up the engine compartment.

By the way I am keeping the AC!!

I saw a race 911 at a vintage race the other day and it was so clean in the engine compartment - truly beautiful. my car is a 73 (soon to be RS look) with a 78 SC motor so no emissions. Street/DE/auto X car - not a daily driver. I am not looking for more performance from the motor necessarily (though I would probably go to S cams next rebuild)

Am I nuts? Flame on!!
