Hate to be a party pooper, but Porsche know this, there were issues with the 2004 build, scraper rings, but they would use over 2 litres around 1000Km's.
In speaking with a friend he checked his owners manual and it states, oil consumption could be as much as 1.6 quarts every 800 miles, so a litre every 1000km's is about right; not that I agree with it.
Just to humor you I will get the official word from Porsche and post here.
