Why Do You Replace The Sensor after Cutting?
Just wondering. Why do you cut the wires, twist them together to complete the circuit, and then re-install the sensors? Do the sensors need to be replaced in the caliper to complete the circuit and trick the computer?
Just wondering why you can't cut the wire, twist them together, throw away the sensor stub, and tie back the hanging wires.
If the sensors are re-installed they will wear normally and not be re-usable anyway.
Sounds like the sensing mechanism comes through the caliper side and not the wiring side. Is that the reason?
