Big911fan - You don't install the sensors on the pads.
Wayne's illustration shows cutting & jumping the wires between the connector & the brake pads. You do not want to cut the wire before this connection, as there is also a pair of wires that goes to the abs sensor.

Green arrow points to brake connector. The other connector & wire, which looks more like a hose because of the insulation protecting the wires, goes to the speed/abs sensor.
