I just checked my notes and back to the question of the 2 styles of 8" Fuchs....
911.362.117.00 = 911/930 style and has 10.6 mm offset ( about 112 mm backspace)
951.362.117.00 = 944 Turbo/951 style and has 23.3mm ofset ( about 125 mm backspace)
So....The 951 version of the 8" Fuchs brings the wheel about(12-13 mm) or 1/2" more "in" toward the car compared to the 911 style 8" Fuchs....so NOW compared to a 9" Fuchs...almost all of the extra width comparing 9" to THIS, 951 style 8" Fuchs, is on the outside.
