Sidney - 560, ouch. I thought it would be a couple of hundred and wouldn't worth the time and trouble to haul to home garage and back.

Mike- another ouch. I've learned from similar experience NOT to store or loan ANYTHING I value near or to family. Even if it's a shared storage building and not at someone's home. They "borrowed" a very unique and valuable antique glider rocker that was my great grandmothers. I didn't have room for at the time so put it in the storage building. But, they didn't just borrow it they had it refinished it to match their decor including bar tacking upholstery on the wood arms making it worthless. I also had items that just disappeared altogether like several boxes full of slot racing cars and track. They just don't care about the value of other's stuff. A nephew (one of the storage sharers) recently offered me $200 for the saxophone I bought when I was in high school because his son was interested in playing sax. He didn't believe me when told it was a sought after model and the current market value is $6000. He insisted that because I bought it in the 70's it could only be worth a couple hundred. And no, it is not where they can get at it.
