In my younger years I struggled to understand women's attraction to diamonds.
Diamonds were simply an ornament with absolutely no function other than appearance (outside industrial use I mean). it didn't make sense.
A fake diamond did exactly the same thing and looked the same, they wouldn't be able to tell the difference, but a fake diamond to them would be an insult.
It obviously wasn't the appearance or fuction, a CZ would not do as far as they were concerned. Was it just the fact that it was extremely expensive? Could they really be that shallow?
Eventually as I got older i came to realize what it was all about.
Women who crave diamonds are inherently insecure with low self-esteem and need to wear a stupidly expensive worthless ornament because their ego is so fragile. Their vanity drives their actions and rational logic has absolutely nothing to do with it.
Wearing something that made no sense at all and was extremely expensive somehow made them feel more important.
I found it sadly humorous when they judged each other by the size or cost of the diamond they were wearing.
It seemed ridiculous to me but I eventually learned to accept it and just one of those things.
