Just keep the old parts from the original engine so you can reswap easy.
Most bug starter fit into a 356 trany just keep in mind that you have the correct starter for the flywheel and check the bushing for the starterdrive in the trany. There are different sizes possible.
Also check if your pressure plate is usable with the TOB.
Adopting a Tach is hard as you need a rare oettinger oilpump
