sounds like your pilot bearing is defective or you damaged it on install, if you push the pedal all the way down, your forcing the the torque tube shaft into the hole in the pilot bearing, if you noticed this right when you touch the clutch pedal, then , it would be more likely the throw out bearing or pressure plate fingers,
What exactly did you replace, and what did you leave original
