Well, it's not a joke. I used to live on a block of 40 houses. There were 3 contractors living on the block. One had a job with a company that did parks and municipal work. Every other person that I knew had a job for some kind of government or their company was receiving government funds in some fashion, research, supplies, defense, whatever.

That left 2 of us to do all the work.



Or, more importantly, 2 of us that produced pure unadulterated GDP without taking a dime of anyone's tax money.
