My friend was in close contact with the organizers last year and we were preparing ourselves and the car for the "Bambina" event last May. It really sucked that they had to scrap it, basically due to lack of community support. Then again I watch Targa Newfoundland and wonder why anyone would let people crash into their stone fences
I was under the impression that there was a new group of organisers planning the full event next year on. I really hope something does come out of this in the next couple years.
