McQueen definitely had an Allard.
I remember a photo-spread years ago in some magazine that sticks in my mind. And I'm pretty sure it was dark green, like the car in your pic.
Get in touch with McQueen's son if you are interested in pursuing this. I gather he's very open to these kinds of inquiries.
