Long story short, I have 4 cars which is too much for me to handle right now (maintenance and garage space). A 1990 BMW e30 325is (my DD), 2004 BMW e46 330i ZHP (wife's DD), 1976 BMW 2002 (my fun car), and 1983 Porsche 911 SC Targa ("wife's" fun car).
I've had my e30 up for sale (

) because unfortunately it's the lowest on the totum poll right now. The 911 took it's place in the garage. Selling the e30 means that I'll be getting the 911 to use as the DD. Similar to the e30, the 911 is going to be very rewarding to work with. It's an SC, so I'm going to have some no-guilt fun doing a few aesthetic and performance mods along with a few upkeep items.
A few things that I plan to tackle:
- New bushings all around
- Lower/tighter suspension
- 17" fuchs
- Remove ugly head lights
- Yellowbird front/rear fascia
Maintenance:
- Lots of preventative type maintenance
Long term:
- 3.6L conversion
Until I get started, I'm just enjoying the car. We bought it only a few months ago and it's in pretty good shape as-is. I sort of limit my time on here because I'm stretched out financially with other things right now and there are all kinds of great ideas for maintenance and upgrades to tackle.
Anyway, just wanted to share.
