Rebuilding control arms

So I've been aware that my front control arms need rebuilding and lately I've been trying to get my suspension sorted out. So naturally I decided I was going to rebuild them as part of my suspension overhaul. But the problem is I'm not too sure of what I should do.

I use the car for my most recently discovered passion, autocross, so I want to rebuild the ball joints with the stronger bronze ball joints. But I was wondering what I should do about the bushings. Should I just stick with the stock rubber ones? Or should I go with the polyurethane ones? Keep in mind I drive the car one the road most of the time so would polyurethane bushings make the car too uncomfortable? And would I be able to install them myself or would they need to be taken to a shop?

Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

Oh and if you're curious here's some videos of me doing autoX YouTube - 10/3/10, #151 (1)
