Hey at least here it's only cold from maybe November to March... And you get the sun even though it's cold out.

Still, I'm a warm-blooded person and given the opportunity, I'd be gone to TX, AZ, FL, etc. in a heartbeat. Just no jobs right now so for now I deal with the goods & bads of this place.

You lived up this way so you understand I think. The jobs market is actually pretty okay right now here, but that whole winter thing... blah. Not my fave.

Given a choice between here and back in Long Beach though I pick this place 10 times out of 10. No stupid neighbors, no fighting over parking, no stupid CA taxes, fees and bureaucracy, etc. I have one stoplight in my town. Life ain't too bad.
