i am sure there is another thread on here, and i did a search for "mini" but nothing came up.
anyway, its new news to me. i just saw the video of the race and mini's lame congratulations to porsche.

first, mini puts "the mighty" above their name and "fancy pants" above porsche.
then mini lost by 2 seconds on an autoX course at RA. at the end they put "thats $38,000 per second". after all, your talking about an autoX course that only took about a minute to run anyway. how much time do you expect to gain on a tight course that is that short? perhaps they should have done 10 laps so the time could open up enough. then it would have only been $3800 per second.

if they lost they lost. to put a price (which we new it would come down to that) on losing is insulting after all the badgering they did to get a race. why couldnt mini just come out and say congratulations, you won, and leave it at that?
hey mini, maybe you should go hound corvette, you might actually beat them. then what would you say? would it still come down to price?

i guess this shows the class of porsche vs mini. after all, i have not seen anyone brag about beating a mini.
