Other than that, I would just be willing to fix all the things that always need replacement on an old car: brake hoses, transmission parts, etc.

So I would head for more power, better looks and lower weight for the motor to push around. It is not cheap to do this, so your dream may be costly.

That's kind of what I have done with mine = although did not backdate. 74's are a great year.

I specifically looked for a 1974 car - non sunroof coupe.
