I have followed your postings on the 912 section..I also have a 69 912 Targa. I bought my Weissach a little over a year ago now. I paid a little over twice the asking amount of this one. Mine has 112K miles(motor gone thru at 70K. It also has new interior and new paint(original color). I think it is called Pongee beige. The carpets and the piping are supposed to be Red....heat and sun fade turns them kinda orange. The car was built on the 930 body with 7 and 8 Fuchs color keyed to the beige. I think the metallic black ones also had the beige wheels. The one you are looking at shouldn't have the Carrera side stripe. I have the window sticker and these cars were over $30K new. If you Google it there are sites that are dedicated to the Weissach. When I bought mine I drove it from near Dayton,Ohio to Northern Arizona...without any real probs at all.
