Saw a badass sounding 5-speed 87 or 88 S4 in Laguna Beach, California. I had a hard time keeping up behind him along the 133 highway as he hit it hard along a 1 or 2 mile stretch before we had to slow down for the speed trap, courtesy of the local p.d. Had an even more difficult time since the concave washer on my right strut was basically in two pieces from the previous owner!! Looking back, that was really dangerous driving the car in that condition...
