Grant, I only slide the jack forward and aft a small bit so I can slip in my jack stands. Approx 4 to 6 inches on both the front and rears. Just be carefull on the passenger side as those high pressure A/C lines could get crimped.

For the record i use hockey pucks too.
All that said, i still prefer that bracket, since i can easily lift both sides of the car - so if anyone knows, please give me the thumbs up.
