Both the fitting and the block are tapered. We ran this by Steve at Renegade and although it seems like it will still stick out the same my understanding (after discusing this) is that it should thread in a bit more? Now I'm confused... The alternative was to hammer in the back wall a tiny bit. Didn't want to do that.
