yes, it will be the 930...after deliberating over this for the past few weeks. plans are for a modified LS7 from Mast motorsports with their engine controller, modified fuel delivery system using the dead headed Z06 fuel filter regulator.and planning on using Livorsi gauges with info from the ecu so that i do not need to add seperate sensors for the porsche gauges. they have a matching GPS speedometer. the 930 is already lightened from previous efforts although i recently did install an original interior and sport seats. i even bought a proper radio for the car. i will have the intake reversed..a composite fast 90 mm .... i will extend the air cleaner into the rear seat area properly enclosed and fed air through naca ducts in the quarter windows. i already have a very nice ducktail with metal base and will most likely run this on the car. i expect this combination to give me an exciting street ride with good power and looks. the LS engine should be at least 75 pounds lighter than the turbo engine, so i would expect balance to be just a bit better. oh, i am thinking that i will have the water outlets redrilled and weld in aluminum elbows to avoid that really tight spot at the rear of the engine compartment. i will use the radiator up front and i will cut and reweld my gas tank.
