Basic plumbing suggestions needed

OK, I have a leak in the drain for my kitchen sink (black pipe, ABS right?). The kitchen is over the garage, and the leak is over the car. My windshield is not happy.

I cut the garage ceiling open, found the leak (slow drip at a junction, only when water is in the drain). I can get to it physically, but I cannot get in deep enough to do something like cut the pipe and rejoin it.

Also, it's a rental. Cutting the ceiling away is as far as I'll go for destruction (it had to be done anyway, this leak is apparently a few months old, and just now getting through the drywall).

Is there a way to seal a leak on a zero pressure drain like that? Rubber sleeve? Tape? Gobs and gobs of glue? What would be the preferred way to fix this?
