I'd also find out who replaced the motor and if it was a new OEM or a rebuilt and what was done to rebuild it. If it's a new OEM it will have a 2 year warranty from Porsche if done by a dealership or authorized Porsche mechanic. If it is rebuilt I would definitely buy an extended warranty that covers everything as many rebuilds are coming out of wrecking yards and you don't know what was done and by who.

I didn't know that many were being rebuilt yet. The parts for M96 motors are starting to flow, but not that many are into it yet?
