It is inelegant, but that's the choice to be made when the OS isn't designed for a form factor. On this front, iPad wins all the way, easily.
If these screens were 1024x768 or better yet, 1280x960 or something it wouldn't be such a problem, the 600 hampers it for sure.
The funny part is it's the same exact problem I had trying to run Win3.11 on a low res monitor for someone about 17-18 years ago, the OK/Cancel buttons were just out of reach.

To me this is the main difference between Apple and MS/partners. Apple gives you elegance but at the price of some features/flexibility/configurability. The Slate will give you the features and you can hack to your heart's content, but it will lack elegance. Pick your poison... |
