Yeah the southern coast is usually a few degrees warmer in the winter than here in central CT. But snow doesn't last too long here either unless it's a really bad winter. I'm completely with you on hating the winter. I can't stand it I hate being inside all the time and having the sun set a 4:30.
The only good thing about it is that those first few warm spring days feel amazing.
