Hi there KJ ... was nice running the mountains with you .... glad you made it back from Okturbofest with no drama and welcome to PP.

You can refinish the wheels by hand but it is a tough job. Here are a couple of threads.

There are probably a lot of threads on here that cover different people doing their own wheel refinishing. Do a few searches mixing up different seach terms and you will soon be a PhD in Fuchs refinishing. But remember ... this is teh Intarwebz ... not all the information is good information.

The search function on PP is not intuitive but here is a tip .... when searching for this topic build your search string something like this .... fuchs and refinish and blah blah blah. The and is important for making sure you get responses with ALL your search conditions not just one or the other.
